Samvatsarikam / Samvatchrikam is a three days program during which the first three days of Masikam, Vimokam and Prathama abdikam is performed. All the family members come together and the eldermost son performs the Taddinam as the main Karta and Gives danam to the Brahmins as per his shakti to get the blessings from the Pitrudevata. First day: The 12th Masikam is performed with the main mantra pandit and a couple of bhaktas. Second day: A pandit recites the mantra during the Samvatsarikam procedure, assisted by a couple of bhaktas, one of whom is a Vishnu bhakta. Upanishat parayana, Dasa danalu. Third day: with a couple of bhaktas and 1 Mantram pandit performs the Prathama Abdikam.
